A Season of New Beginning at DKK

Marking the start of a new fiscal year, welcoming new employees, and celebrating our 70th anniversary

Spring in Japan is known as the season of SAKURA — cherry blossoms, bringing mild weather and a sense of new beginnings.

In Japan, the new fiscal year begins in April. The academic calendar follows the same cycle, with students starting school in April and graduating in March. Many graduates then enter the workforce and begin their professional careers on April 1.

This year, Daiichi Kigenso Kagaku Kogyo Co., Ltd. (“DKK”) once again welcomes a new group of employees, as they attend the company’s entrance ceremony and take their first steps as professionals.

April 1 is also a significant day for many companies in Japan, as it marks the timing of major personnel changes. Not only new employees, but also experienced staff members take this opportunity to renew their commitment—both to the company and to their own professional growth.

Founded in 1956, DKK celebrates its 70th anniversary in 2026. With sincere appreciation for the continued support of our partners and customers, we remain committed to growing together and to taking on new challenges that contribute to the global economy and help address societal issues.
