At the time DKK was founded in 1956, zirconium was not a well understood element and had limited applications. Our young founders saw the potential of zirconium and took on the task of bringing out its possibilities. DAIICHI KIGENSO means the one and only and a unique element.
Under the motto “Because no one has done it, we will do it,” they founded DKK with a spirit of undertaking challenges. Since then, DKK has been steadily moving forward by dedicating ourselves to our customers’ needs and requests while discovering new properties and uncovering the mysteries of that once poorly understood element.
